As a nonprofit organization, The Good Food Institute is dedicated to advancing open-access research in alternative proteins and creating an ecosystem focused on scientific and academic development in this sector. Many plant-based alternatives already exist, as well as a number of initiatives for the production of cultivated meats, but in Brazil, we face the significant challenge of structuring and consolidating the science and technology of cell culture so that the country remains a major player in protein production on the global market.
Therefore, GFI Brazil has just opened a selection process for a cultivated meat specialist. As a specialist in this sector, the professional will work to ensure that the development plan for cultivated meat in Brazil is feasible; that the best scientists are engaged in cultivated meat R&D; and that significant funds are allocated to scientific endeavors to create and consolidate the cellular meat industry and other cellular agriculture products in the country without relying on external technology.
To sign up, just read the edict and fill this form with your personal data, CV and project plan in Cultivated Meat.
