The Good Food Institute Brazil has launched a call for proposals with the aim of hiring a specialized company to conduct a strategic study on the plant-based meat category in Brazil. The focus is to analyze the market and develop strategies for the growth and consolidation of this category in the country, inspired by lessons learned from other consumer categories and markets that have faced similar challenges. The study should identify paths and best practices that guide the alternative protein industry to move forward, proposing effective actions that can be adopted by companies in the sector. The ultimate goal is to create a strategic plan that increases the market share of plant-based meat, considering the entire category, and not just specific products or brands. We have an open position for a Data Specialist! We're looking for someone to design new consumer-focused studies, hire and manage suppliers, prepare and present reports, manage and deliver relevant data to all stakeholders benefiting from GFI Brazil's initiatives, including businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, government, and academia. You'll build relationships with research institutes, market experts, and other stakeholders to understand the best data to support the growth of the alternative protein market in Brazil. Regarding skills, we're looking for someone with at least five years of experience in the field, particularly in consumer research development, and excellent oral and written communication skills. GFI Brazil opens selection process for cultivated meat specialist

As a non-profit organization, The Good Food Institute is dedicated to advancing open-access research in alternative proteins and creating an ecosystem focused on the scientific and academic development of this sector. There are already many plant-based alternatives, and a number of initiatives for the production of cultivated meats, but in Brazil, we face the great challenge of structuring and consolidating the science and technology of cell culture so that the country continues to be a major player in the production of proteins in the global market. For this reason, GFI Brazil has just opened a selection process for a specialist in cultivated meat. As a specialist in this sector, the professional will work to ensure that the development plan for cultivated meat in Brazil is feasible; that the best scientists are engaged in R&D of cultivated meat; and that significant funds are directed to scientific ventures to create and consolidate the industry of cellular meat and other cellular agriculture products in the country without relying on external technology.
