Gus Guadagnini is the president of The Good Food Institute Brazil, where he promotes the advancement of alternative proteins as one of the most promising climate solutions. These innovative food sources can be derived from plants, obtained through fermentation or cultivated from cells, offering new possibilities to diversify our protein consumption. A graduate in Business Administration from PUC-SP, Gus develops partnerships with scientists, companies and governments to advance this sector. Recognized for his leadership in the field, he participates in national and international events, sharing his vision and inspiring a real transformation in the way we eat. His goal is to create a more sustainable, healthy and ethical food production chain.

Sustainability Report 2024
The alternative protein revolution continues to grow, demonstrating its positive impact on the economy and the climate. Data from Euromonitor indicates that the plant-based meat market surpassed R$1,1 billion in retail sales, while the plant-based milk market reached R$700 million.
Sustainability Report 2023
With six years to go until the deadline to meet the main goal of the Paris Agreement – preventing the planet from warming more than 1,5ºC – is it still possible to prevent a climate catastrophe? No one knows for sure, but the doubt makes us want to find faster answers and global and systemic solutions.
Sustainability Report 2022
A lot can happen in 365 days. And it did! Among many social, environmental and political issues, we reached the milestone of 8 billion people on Earth. The planet is expected to be home to 10 billion by 2050, which means less time and more urgency to achieve climate goals that, although ambitious, are possible.
